What is ace combat 3?

Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere is a flight simulation video game developed by Namco for the PlayStation console. It was released in 1999 in Japan and 2000 in Europe and North America.

The game is set in a futuristic world where corporations have replaced nations as the primary power structures. Players take on the role of a pilot for the UPEO (Universal Peace Enforcement Organization) and engage in aerial combat missions against various factions and enemies.

Ace Combat 3 features over 50 different aircraft to fly, as well as a branching storyline with multiple endings depending on the player's choices throughout the game. The game also introduced a detailed briefing system and advanced AI for enemy aircraft, making for a more challenging and immersive gameplay experience.

Although well-received by critics for its graphics, gameplay, and storytelling, Ace Combat 3 did not sell as well as its predecessors due to a limited release outside of Japan and North America. Despite this, it has developed a cult following among fans of the Ace Combat series.
